Beginning The Journey

I know this is going to sound so cliche. Every woman around my age usually talks about journeying through life and uses all the hackneyed metaphors I probably won't be any different. I can't promise that this blog will be strikingly enlightening or fascinating, but it will be reflective on what goes on in the mind, spirit and heart of someone who is at one place in their life and is ready or not, moving on in different ways.... physically moving from one dwelling to another, moving from North Philly to Center City and last but not least, moving from relationships to other relationships.

I wish I could say something philosophically profound about the experiences of moving, whether it be literally relocating or transitioning from one life stage to another. Right now the only thing I could come up with is that shaking up your groundedness and permanence and familiarity in exchange for the unknown is damn scary.
